About The Artist
Since childhood art has been an important expression of self. My interest in painting began at All Saints High School in Brooklyn. Mr. Barbarino introduced me to acrylics. This was the start of my experimentation with brush and canvas. Little did either one of us know the profound effect this class would have on my life. The nights I stayed up till dawn working on a piece, painting next to my baby's playpen while she watched Sesame Street and years later sitting down at my easel after work.
My eagerness to learn more about technique and color continued through college and all the years in-between. Whether an elective or an adult community course, I continually seek the pleasure that only painting and the arts can provide.I am forever trying to capture my view of the world.
This hobby of mine has grown so that I have no recourse but to start to sell some of my work. My home can no longer accommodate all the canvases I have accumulated over the years! Works include acrylics, watercolor, oils, photography, graphite and charcoal. A small example is contained on these web pages.
